- Take Interstate 80 east from sacrament to truckee
- Take the central truckee exit through town to HWY 267
- Go right on HWY 267 past northstar to HWY 28 (North Lake Boulevard)
- Turn left on HWY 28 to harbor avenue
- Turn right on Harbor avenue(the last street in California before the Cal-Neva Hotel/Casino)
- Fairwinds is located at the end of Harbor Avenue at 9898 Lake Street.
